Can't let you go part 3,♥
With a quick, desperate pace, he ran through the hallways, ignoring the irritated yells to "slow down, sonny!" His determined eyes narrowed as they caught sight of his destination.
Finally...
He twisted the handle with such vigor that he would have broken his wrist if he'd twisted with anymore force.
"[Name]! [NAME]!" He burst into the room, not caring if he was in a hospital. He stopped short, seeing you gaze steadily back at him.
The broken look on your face was so heartbreaking.
"Now you know." you repeated your written message, refusing to cry. No, you couldn't. There were no more tears left inside you.
You averted your eyes from -----. --------, your ex-lover, once your everything, the one you could count on to hold onto you and never let go. The most kindest of them all, who would always give you a sweet kiss everyday, and never fail to make you smile.
But that was then. This was now.
You got off the bed you were sitting on, the hospital gown hanging limply from your thin frame.
"You should go now." you told him softly. He stepped towards you, shaking his head.
"No." he simply stated, walking towards you still.
"You said to forget about you."
"I don't want you to." His arms were around you now, as strong and warm as you'd remembered. You didn't try to resist his hug.
"I might die." He hugged you harder, his warm eyes begging you to forgive him for the pain he has made you go through.
"No, you won't. You will make it through this. I love you, [Name], and I always will." With this, he kissed you lovingly on the lips, so carefully that you felt like crying from relief of being reunited with him.
The door opened, and in walked a doctor with a clipboard in his hands.
"[Name]-san? It's time." he said briskly. He didn't seem surprised at all to see you caught in a lover's embrace. You nodded weakly, and looked at him. He smiled sadly, and kissed you again, this time on the forehead.
"I'll be waiting for you, [Name]. I love you."
And when you were wheeled back to your room after a brutal 3 hour surgery, there he was, gazing expectantly at the door as if he knew you would make it.
Just like he'd promised.
"I'm never letting you go now, [Name]. I love you too much."
"I love you so much, too."
